Designing Practical Machine Layouts
As a planner, your task is to find a spatial structure for objects or areas that minimizes transportation effort. This constitutes an optimization task.
visTable® supports your planning with a heuristic-based layout optimization feature. Working ideally within a workshop team, you arrange objects manually while guided by an intuitive priority list and color-coded layout areas that show exactly how objects should be positioned relative to one another. An effort indicator located above the priority list provides instant visual feedback, showing whether changes improve or worsen the spatial structure. Typically, multiple iterations are required to achieve an optimal structure.
